Eric Buckland, O.D.
Dr. Eric Buckland is originally from Ottawa, Ohio. He graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in
1999. He was then admitted to The OSU College of Optometry and was trained in the diagnosis and management of ocular diseases, regular and specialty contact lens fitting, binocular vision and pediatrics, low vision needs, and primary vision care.

He did externship rotations at the Chillicothe VA Hospital, Retina Vitreous associates, and ReVision Advanced Laser Eye Center among others. He completed his Doctor of Optometry degree in 2003.

He practices full-scope optometry in Grove City, Ohio treating a wide range of eye conditions such as foreign body removal, conjunctivitis, and dry eye syndrome. He enjoys fitting various types of contact lenses including bifocal contacts and contact lenses for astigmatism.

Dr. Buckland is a long-standing member of the American Optometric Association (AOA), the Ohio Optometric Association (OOA), and the Central Ohio Optometric Assoc (COOA). Each year he attends the national AOA meeting to keep current on eye care practice in America. He also attends various local continuing education lectures. He participates in a program each year with Wal-Mart called Project InSight which gives free eye exams and glasses to children who otherwise could not afford eye care.
   
James C. Bieber, O.D.
Dr. Bieber attended Miami University and obtained his B.S. and Doctor of Optometry degrees from The Ohio State University and he also did graduate work in physiological optics and the care of exceptional children.

Besides being in private practice since 1968, Dr. Bieber's professional experience includes three years as the optometry officer for Dyess AFB Hospital in Abilene, Texas, and twelve years as a Clinical Instructor at the Ohio State College of Optometry, teaching in the areas of general optometry, orthoptics, and visual perception.
He continues to help train future optometrists by serving as a Primary Care Preceptor for OSU Optometry externs. Dr. Bieber is the author of several articles published in professional journals. His practice interests center on contact lens care, the role of vision in child development, and therapeutic treatment of anterior eye disease.

He is a member of the American, the Ohio, and the Central Ohio Optometric Associations, Phi Gamma Delta social fraternity, Epsilon Psi Epsilon professional fraternity, and Beta Sigma Kappa international optometry honorary. Other memberships include First Community Church, University & Northwest Sertoma Club, OSU Alumni Association (Life Member) and OSU Optometry Alumni Association.

Dr. Bieber and his wife Janet have been married since 1965, and they have three adult children, Brad, Lynne, and Lorraine
